Three questions for ... smartGAS introduces itself

Solving seemingly unsolvable problems and always having a creative idea or solution ready: That characterized Tim Loigge. In the column "Three questions to...", our employees introduce themselves personally and describe what makes their daily work so special.

  • Briefly introduce yourself and your position at smartGAS.

I am Tim Loigge, 24 years old and I studied electrical systems engineering at Heilbronn University. I am an electrical engineer in the development department at smartGAS.

  • What is your most important/best task in everyday life (at smartGAS)?

For me, the best part of my job is solving seemingly unsolvable problems and always having a creative idea or solution ready. My tasks include everything that revolves around electronic hardware development/problems/measurements. From a circuit idea to simulating and testing this idea to implementing it and finally making a serial product out of it.

  • How, when and why did you come to smartGAS?

I came to smartGAS 1.5 years ago and started my six-month compulsory internship for my studies at that time. Afterwards, I was a working student at smartGAS for half a year and then wrote my bachelor's thesis in the company.
After successfully completing my studies, I was offered a job as an electrical engineer at smartGAS. Since March 2022, I am an electrical engineer with a great development team at smartGAS.
