smartGAS Germany as the market leader of industrial infrared gas sensors and SIGAS China with its more than 12 years of expertise in gas analyzers, sensors, environmental monitoring systems and industrial process analysis systems have entered into a strategic merger. The merger of the two companies completes the fundamental future orientation to optimize the upstream and downstream industrial chains and open up the global market.

smartGAS establishes joint venture in China
smartGAS Mikrosensorik GmbH is significantly expanding its operations in Asia, including a joint venture in China with the company’s long-standing partner SIGAS Measurement Engineering Corp. The new company smartGAS China Ltd. in Jiangsu Changshu near Shanghai will be fully responsible for the markets in China and Asia starting 01/01/2021.
