Three questions for... smartGAS introduces itself

In the future, we would like to introduce you to the people behind smartGAS who give their best every day in the column "Three questions to...". We'll start with our colleague Manuel from the test field.

  1. Introduce yourself and your position at smartGAS briefly.
I am Manuel León, I am 33 years old, I come from Spain but I was born in Colombia. I work as an electronics technician in the test field at smartGAS.

  2. What is your most important day-to-day job at smartGAS?
My main function in the test field is to calibrate our sensors. This is a very challenging task, as it requires constant concentration and very careful work. Later at the customer's site, a lot depends on the exact measured values of the smartGAS sensors, for example when they are used to control systems or to monitor limits.

  3. How did you come to smartGAS?
Three years ago, I moved to Heilbronn and decided to expand my professional experience in the field of electronics. During my job search I found smartGAS. When I saw the job posting, I immediately noticed the overlap with my profile. The idea of working in a worldwide leading company in the sensor industry appealed to me and today I can say that it was absolutely the right step for me.
