The measurement basis of the ANAREX gas analysers are the high-quality SILAREX sensors, which can measure up to three gases simultaneously using the NDIR measurement principle. They can be combined with other sensor types and detection principles depending on the specified gas combination.
PAS sensors, for example, which are based on photoacoustic spectroscopy, can be added to determine organic ripening gases such as ethylene (C2H4) in fruit ripening. Another option are paramagnetic or electrochemical sensors for oxygen (O2) determination. Initially, smartGAS offers two measuring gas combinations on the European market: CO2 (0...20 vol.-%) combined with CO (0...1000 ppm) as well as CO2 (0...5 vol.-%) and O2 (0...25 vol.-%) in combination with ethylene (5...1000 ppm).
The ANAREX gas analysers have already proven themselves in the Asian market for years in emission measurement and process measurement technology. If required, up to five gases can be measured with three sensors in one ANAREX gas analyser. The measured values can be read in real time on the 5.6-inch LCD touch screen and transmitted via an RS232 interface and an analogue output.
