Heilbronn, 22 February 2012 – smartGAS Mikrosensorik GmbH and HY-LINE Sensor-Tec are pleased to announce that on 22. February 2012, a distribution agreement was signed for the future sale of smartGAS sensors in Germany and Austria.
HY-LINE a well known distributor for sensor products expands its portfolio to include technologically advanced products in the areas of gas measurement. smartGAS is a leading manufacturer of innovative gas sensors with their own product development and manufacturing plant in Heilbronn (Germany).
smartGAS sensors are based on infrared absorption (NDIR) which allows selective detection of gas and accurate determination of its concentration. smartGAS OEM sensors are used in safety technology, refrigeration and air conditioning systems, high power technology, analytical appliances and process technology.
smartGAS the leader in detection solutions for SF6 and refrigerants intend to present interesting and new products soon. The leading technology of smartGAS now allows long term stability measurements of ethylene (C2H4) in banana ripening plants and in storage of fruits and vegetables. First samples of the ethylene sensor will be available in the next months.
With this new product smartGAS has again defined new benchmarks in the gas detection market which provides safety and cost effective solutions for a wide variety of applications.
